A federal appeals court on Tuesday ruled that the Trump administration may resume fast-track deportations for undocumented immigrants nationwide, the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit said.
The court issued a 2-1 decision that overturned a lower-court ruling.
The expedited process at issue is typically reserved for individuals who recently crossed the southern border.
The appeals court's decision allows the administration to expand the fast-track deportation process.
