A skydiver survived a crash into a small tent during opening night at the Folsom Pro Rodeo in Folsom, California, on July 3, 2026.

Video shows the skydiver descending with an American flag attached, and as he neared landing the flag appeared to snag on a tree, sending him crashing into the tent and away from nearby stands that were filled with spectators. The video stops right after the fall.

The Folsom Pro Rodeo said in a statement that the skydiver, identified as Ross, is safe and walked into the arena after the jump to a standing ovation. "On behalf of the Folsom Pro Rodeo and Choose Folsom, our skydiver Ross is safe and walked into our arena, post jump to a standing ovation. He will be skydiving into our arena again tonight, July 3rd," the statement said.
