RETIREMENT SYSTEMS: Recognizes the growing retirement security crisis, highlights its contributing factors, and urges efforts to improve retirement security for all citizens.

LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEES: Urges and requests the Select Committee on Women and Children of the Senate to study a parent's right to equal custodial periods with the child.

HEALTH CARE: Continues the Task Force on the Regulation of Community-Based Residential Settings.

HEALTH CARE: Creates a task force to study the feasibility of forming an independent review board to assist cancer patients and healthcare providers with prior authorization processes that do not comply with the Cancer Patient's Right to Prompt Coverage Act.

CONDOLENCES: Expresses sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of James Hardy"Jimmy" Gill Jr. on the occasion of his passing.

SPECIAL DAY/WEEK/MONTH: Designates Wednesday, November 14, 2025, as "Ruby Bridges Day" in Louisiana.

JUVENILE JUSTICE: Requests the office of juvenile justice to provide specific information in a report to the Senate committees on Finance and Judiciary B relative to complaints, investigations, and litigation at secure and non-secure care facilities under the jurisdiction of the office of juvenile justice, youth services.

TRAFFIC: Request the Department of Transportation and Development to study the South Claiborne Avenue Development.

COMMENDATIONS: Commends Deputy Gregory Brant Aydell on his selection as recipient of the Louisiana Sheriff's Association's Deputy Valor Award.

COMMENDATIONS: Commends DEA Task Force Officer Rickey Anderson on his selection as the Louisiana Association's Deputy of the Year.

CONDOLENCES: Expresses heartfelt condolences upon the passing of Harold Lee Price.

LIABILITY: Requests the Louisiana State Law Institute to study and make recommendations to the legislature on including digital products in the application of the Louisiana Products Liability Act.

INSURANCE DEPARTMENT: Requests the Department of Insurance to review whether insureds are being improperly included in claims information exchanges.

COMMENDATIONS: Commends The Center for Literacy and Learning and designates May 13, 2025, as Literacy Day at the Louisiana State Capitol.

INSURERS: To authorize and direct the legislative auditor and the Department of Insurance to study the financial transactions between foreign and domestic insurers who are authorized to do and are doing business in the state of Louisiana.

LIABILITY: Urges and requests the Louisiana State Law Institute to study and recommend legislation relative to the Louisiana Governmental Claims Act.

COMMENDATIONS: Commends the volunteers and members of the 2025 Concerned Women for America's Encourage-A-Legislator Project.

LEGIS POWERS/FUNCTIONS: Designates the village of Cankton in St. Landry Parish as the Accordion Capital of Louisiana.

COMMENDATIONS: Commends and recognizes Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Sigma Rho Omega Chapter on the occasion of its thirty-fifth anniversary.

COMMENDATIONS: Commends and congratulates the St. Louis Catholic High School Boys Golf Team for winning the 2025 LHSAA Division II State Championship and recognizes junior Kye Hanks for capturing the individual state title.

HEALTH DEPARTMENT: Requests the Louisiana Department of Health to post nursing home ratings on its website.

LAW ENFORCEMENT: To urge and request law enforcement agencies in Louisiana to use restorative approaches in their efforts to keep the communities they serve safe and healthy.

GOVERNMENTAL REGULATIONS: Requests local governing authorities to adopt abatement of public nuisances ordinances to deter illicit businesses, including massage therapy establishments operating without a license or engaging in criminal acts.

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT: Requests the Louisiana Department of Education to develop and implement a system for collecting and reporting aggregated, non-identifiable data on suicide risk assessments conducted in public schools.

MUNICIPALITIES: To urge and request the village of Downsville to consolidate its municipal water system.

PUBLIC HEALTH: Requests the Louisiana Department of Health to educate the public on risk factors and symptoms of lung cancer and to promote lung cancer screening.

COASTAL PROTECT/RES AUTH: Approves the annual state integrated coastal protection plan for Fiscal Year 2026, as adopted by the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Board.

SPECIAL DAY/WEEK/MONTH: Designates May 29, 2025, as St. James Parish Day at the Louisiana State Capitol.

COMMENDATIONS: Commends the Chalmette High School 2025 Management Team on winning the National ProStart Invitational held in Baltimore, Maryland.

COMMENDATIONS: Commends each Teacher of the Year from schools in Senate District 15 for exemplary and dedicated service on Teacher of the Year Day at the Louisiana State Capitol.
