Pennsylvania Senate Bills

An Act amending Titles 24 (Education) and 71 (State Government) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in membership, contributions and benefits, further providing for creditable nonschool service; and, in membership, credited service, classes of service, and eligibility for benefits, further providing for creditable nonstate service.

An Act amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in sentencing, providing for sentencing for certain aggravated cruelty to animal offenses.

A Resolution condemning the worldwide persecution of Christians, recognizing the persecution as a grave human rights crisis, reaffirming the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's historic commitment to religious liberty and urging Federal action.

An Act amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in child protective services, further providing for employees having contact with children and adoptive and foster parents.

An Act requiring the installation and maintenance of fuel gas detectors in certain buildings; providing for building owner responsibilities; and imposing penalties.

An Act amending the act of November 29, 2006 (P.L.1435, No.156), known as the Public Utility Confidential Security Information Disclosure Protection Act, further providing for prohibition.

An Act designating a bridge, identified as Bridge Key 46384, carrying Galloway Road over Interstate 276 in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, as the Sgt. John J. Bonk, Jr., Memorial Bridge.

An Act amending Title 3 (Agriculture) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for the use of hemp in commercial animal feed.

An Act amending Title 20 (Decedents, Estates and Fiduciaries) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, adopting Uniform Acts: in short title and definitions, further providing for definitions; in wills, further providing for validity of execution and for revocation of a will; providing for electronic wills; in dispositions independent of letters, family exemption, probate of wills and grant of letters, further providing for self-proved wills; providing for uniform electronic estate planning documents; and making conforming changes.

An Act amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in liquid fuels and fuels tax, further providing for electric vehicle road user charge.

An Act providing for geothermal energy development; imposing duties on the Department of Environmental Protection; promulgating regulations; establishing the Geothermal Energy Development Fund; and imposing penalties.

An Act amending the act of April 9, 1929 (P.L.177, No.175), known as The Administrative Code of 1929, in powers and duties of the Department of Health and its departmental administrative and advisory boards, providing for perimenopause and menopause education.

An Act amending the act of June 3, 1937 (P.L.1333, No.320), known as the Pennsylvania Election Code, in district election officers, further providing for district election boards and election and for qualifications of election officers, repealing provisions relating to tie votes for judge and inspector and further providing for vacancies in election boards, appointment, judge and majority inspector to be members of majority party and minority inspector to be member of minority party.

An Act amending the act of May 17, 1921 (P.L.682, No.284), known as The Insurance Company Law of 1921, in casualty insurance, providing for menopause treatment coverage.

A Resolution recognizing the 250th anniversary of the United States Postal Service.

A Resolution urging all agencies of the Commonwealth to have the ability to use diacritical marks on names on all Commonwealth-issued documents by July 1, 2027.
