Version ISThis Act may be cited as the Improving Pest and Disease Preparedness for Specialty Crops Act.
Section 420 of the Plant Protection Act (7 U.S.C. 7721) is amended—
in subsection (b), by adding at the end the following:
In using funds made available to carry out this section, the Secretary shall prioritize cooperative agreements under this subsection to carry out activities under this subsection in high-risk States.
in subsection (f)—
in paragraph (6), by striking and at the end;
in paragraph (7), by striking and each fiscal year thereafter. and inserting ; and; and
by adding at the end the following:
$150,000,000 for fiscal year 2027 and each fiscal year thereafter.
in subsection (g), by striking $5,000,000 and inserting $12,000,000.
