Version IHThis Act may be cited as the Maternal Access to Treatment Act of 2026 or the MAT Act of 2026.
The Director of the Bureau of Prisons shall provide medication assisted treatment (commonly known as MAT) to each pregnant woman in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons addicted to opioids.
A pregnant woman who is mentally competent may deny the provision of medication assisted treatment under subsection (a).
