Version IHThis Act may be cited as the Daughters of the American Revolution Membership Integrity Act.
Chapter 1531 of title 36, United States Code, is amended by inserting after section 153101 the following:
Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, eligibility for membership in the corporation shall be limited to an individual who—
is a woman; and
otherwise satisfies the genealogical and membership qualifications established by the corporation.
For purposes of this section—
the term woman means an adult human female; and
the term female means a person who naturally has, had, will have, or would have but for a congenital anomaly or intentional or unintentional disruption, the reproductive system that produces, transports, and utilizes the large gamete (ova) for fertilization.
